Go, Girl! Jennifer Aniston Set to Star as the First Female POTUS in Netflix’s First Ladies

Jennifer Aniston has been elected commander-in-chief . . . in Netflix's new comedy series, First Ladies, that is. The former Friends actress will play Beverly Nicholson alongside Tig Notaro as the first female president of the United States. Notaro (One Mississippi) will play Aniston's wife, and therefore the first lady, Kasey. The series is co-written by Notaro and Stephanie Allynne, and "promises to show that behind every great woman is another great woman," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Aniston, Notaro, and Allynne are also set to co-produce the political comedy along with Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Jessica Elbaum, and Betsy Koch. Chris Henchy will serve as executive producer. No word yet on when the show will debut, but you can already count us in!
