Hold Onto Your Hats, Because Trading Spaces Is Coming Back and There’s a Trailer to Prove It
January 18, 2018Home decor junkies, rejoice! After 10 years, TLC's Trading Spaces is getting a revival this Spring, and we have the trailer to prove it. The video trailer was uploaded to the show's Facebook page on Jan. 12, and to say we're excited about its premiere would be a gigantic understatement.
If you need a refresher on the premise of the show, no worries, it's a pretty straightforward deal: two sets of neighbors are given two days and $2,000 each (up from the previous $1,000 budget) to give each others' homes a face-lift. And the kicker? The original owners don't have a say in the remodeling choices, so the fate of their home is totally in their neighbors' hands.

The revival includes the original cast of designers with "a fresh coat of paint," so keep your eyes peeled for favorites such as Edward Walker, Genevieve Gorder, Amy Wynn Pastor, Douglas Wilson, Hilda Santo Tomas, Kia Steave-Dickerson, Laurie Hickson-Smith, Vern Yip, Frank Bielec, and of course, hosts Paige Davis and Ty Pennington. A few guest interior designers will also make experiences throughout the season. So far, Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent have already signed on for episodes, according to TLC's Instagram.
Catch the series premiere on TLC on Saturday, April 7, at 9 p.m. ET.
