A new story that claims Rihanna is laughing off pregnancy rumors following her performance at the 2018 Grammy Awards is completely bogus. Gossip Cop can correct this report.

Despite a slew of inaccurate stories making the rounds online, on Monday Gossip Cop exclusively debunked the rumor about Rihanna being pregnant with her first child. The bogus claim came back to life after Rihanna performed “Wild Thoughts” at the Grammys on Sunday, with some fans taking to social media to suggest the singer looked a little fuller than usual and was dancing “delicately” during her set. Of course, HollywoodLife jumped on the bandwagon, fueling the unfounded speculation by posting stories based on nothing but fan theories.

Oddly, flip-flopping on its previous premise, the often discredited outlet is now claiming in a new headline, “Rihanna ‘Laughs Off’ Grammy Pregnancy Rumors, Yet Thinks About How BF Hassan Will Be As A Dad.” In the report, a so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “At this point Rihanna feels like all she can do is laugh off all the pregnancy rumors, in addition to just ignoring them now. She’s not pregnant, and she’s not even trying to get pregnant either at this point.”

The website’s questionable “insider” goes on to purport, “Would she like children in the future? Yes, but definitely in the future, she’s simply not ready to start a family… just yet. Rihanna loves children though, she’s a natural mom, and she thinks Hassan [Jameel] will make an amazing father.” And to conclude its seemingly fabricated tale, the online publication’s most assuredly fake tipster is further quoted as telling the site, “He’s really kind and patient, and a very loving person, but right now she’s focused on her career first and foremost. Plus, Rihanna hasn’t even met his family yet.”

Let Gossip Cop set the record straight. This latest piece of fiction is coming from the very same outlet that routinely pretends to have “insider” information about the star. In December, for example, we busted the untrustworthy blog when it untruthfully claimed Rihanna was engaged. More importantly, though, it’s the same website we debunked for starting and subsequently spreading the rumor about Rihanna being pregnant in the first place.

What’s more, and as Gossip Cop has noted in the past, no one from the singer’s trusted inner circle is talking to the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies about the star. And after wrongly asserting that she’s expecting her first baby, it’s hard to believe a reputable and genuine “source” close to Rihanna is now telling the website that she’s laughing off “pregnancy rumors,” especially when the rumor itself originated from the unreliable outlet. The entire article is nothing more than a fabrication.
