In an interview before Sunday night's Grammys, Jay-Z confided how he fought for his marriage to Beyonce—after he had cheated. The rapper said on CNN's The Van Jones Show that fellow singer Beyonce is his soul mate, but candidly indicated it was a battle to hold things together. Jay-Z previously admitted to the New York Times that he'd been unfaithful to his wife. He told Van Jones about Beyonce, "That's my soul mate. It's the person I love. You can be in love with someone, you can love someone, and if you haven't experienced love or don't understand it or you don't have the tools to move forward then you are going to have complications. Period."

It's difficult to hear, it's difficult to say, it's difficult to listen to that pain. You have to be strong enough to go through that – and on the other side it's beautiful." He said therapy stopped them from divorcing. Beyonce's album "Lemonade" previously shocked their fans as it hinted at his cheating.
