Winter storm Stella is here and it’s time to hole up with cocoa, tea, or a glass of wine and binge watch your way through the blizzard. Thankfully, this nice weatherman from ABC6 in Philly hooked you up with how much wine to buy, but what he didn’t offer you were binging suggestions.

That’s okay, though—the Frisky’s got you covered!

1. Black Mirror (Netflix)

Look out at the snow covered, dystopian landscape and watch these harrowing tales of technological dystopia. Black Mirror is a great option if you don’t want to get too sucked in since each episode stands alone, but there is more than enough there to keep you hooked all through the storm!

2. Game of Thrones (HBO)

“Winter is (clearly) here,” and if you really want to get into the spirit of the snow, give Game of Thrones a (re)watch! The story is so intricate that there is bound to be something you missed the first time. Beware, though. Whether it’s your first watch or your fifth, GoT will suck you in (again) for good!

3. Atlanta (FX)

FX newcomer Atlanta has it all: serious themes, whip-smart writing, and Donald Glover. What else could you want? Plus, it has only aired one season so far making it the perfect length for a few-day snow-binge!

4. Orphan Black (BBC)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Tatiana Maslany is #bae. She is a queen, a goddess. She plays dozens of awesome women in Orphan Black and it’s totally addicting. Join the #CloneClub during the storm! The final season airs later this year, so it’s a perfect time to catch up before the show ends for good.

5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Off-the-air, watch on Netflix or Hulu)

I’m putting Buffy on this list not so much to tell you about it, but to remind you that there are no better snow-day companions than Buffy and the Scoobies… But you probably already knew that. Plus, the 20th Anniversary of the show’s premiere just passed, so… Yeah. It might be time to revisit Ms. Summers and the rest of the gang in Sunnydale.

6. Love (Netflix)

Love is amazing. The second season just came out on March 10th. It’s almost as if some higher being heard our prayers and sent Stella just so you could stay at home and binge the new season.

7. You’re the Worst (FXX)

You’re the Worst is like the OG Love. It came out to relatively little fanfare before the beloved Netflix version and works within a similar narrative arc, but does it better. There, I said it. I love Love, but I love You’re the Worst more. If you’re anything like me, you will, too. Give it a shot.

8. Are You the One? (MTV)

I actually just found out about Are You the One? and it’s awesome. It harkens back to the golden era of MTV dating shows (can I get some love for Room Raiders?) which also happens to be when most of us were probably taking snow days from school instead of work. What better way was there to pass the time then? Watching MTV’s dating show marathons all day. Will it still work now? Absolutely.

9. Gilmore Girls (Netflix)

Okay, I know we’ve all seen Gilmore Girls multiple times by now, but it is the epitome of hygge-TV and totally perfect for snuggling up with during a snowstorm. My recommendation for this one is to just watch the “snow episodes,” so as not to get too drawn in to a full re-watch situation when you don’t have the appropriate time commit to it.

10. The Office (Off-the-air, watch on Netflix or Hulu)

Another “classic-for-a-reason” option for you! It doesn’t matter if you’ve seen it all before or never seen an episode, nothing beats settling in with Pam, Jim, Michael, Dwight, and the rest of them for hi-jinks and hilarity. Grab a hot chocolate (spiked or not) and enjoy.

11. Drunk History (Comedy Central)

Learn a little something on your snow day. Or just laugh a lot and drink alongside your favorite celebrities. Either way it’s a win.

12. Transparent (Amazon Prime Original)

Transparent is amazing and seriously under-watched. If you want to feel serious feels as much as you laugh during your snow day off, then Transparent might be the right choice. It’s a show that’s as sensitive as it is outrageous with an undeniably unique voice and narrative. Plus, Jeffrey Tambor, Judith Light, and many, many more favorites all star in it. Seriously, go watch it.
