Cardi took to Twitter to apologize: “Listen to “GIRLS” by Rita Ora ft me @BebeRexha @charli_xcx,” Cardi tweeted Tuesday. “We never try to cause harm or had bad intentions with the song. I personally myself had experiences with other woman, shiieeett with a lot of woman ! I though the song was a good song and i remember my experience.” Rita Ora retweeted Cardi’s message and added some emojis. Ora issued her own apology on Monday It gets tricky though because Cardi also apologized for not using the correct terms, but then turned around and used a term! Donald Glover should have had his own movie from the jump. However, this is America. According to ComicBook, LucasFilms president Kathleen Kennedy announced that Glover will indeed star in his very own Lando Calrissian movie during in interview with Premiere France. “We think that the next spin-off will be dedicated to Lando Calrissian,” Kennedy said. “Of course, there are still many stories to tell about Han and Chewbacca but Lando will be next.” You’d think with Glover’s huge rising popularity that this would be pretty obvious but hey, what do we know, we’re just Black folks with a keen eye for what’s poppin’ in pop culture. Image via Getty John Bunn Exonerated Of Wrongful Murder Conviction In 1991 John Bunn was convicted of murdering an off-duty correctional officer in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York. He didn’t do it. However, he spent 17 years of his life in prison. He was only 14 years old at the time according to NYDailyNews. “They won’t admit I’m an innocent man,” said the emotional Bunn, now 41, as he clutched the hands of his lawyers in a Brooklyn courtroom. “Y’all had the wrong man this whole time and you have (someone) out there running free and y’all had no right to do what you did.” Peep the footage of a grateful Bunn bawling and giving thanks to the Black woman judge who restored his good name.
