Sienna Miller Wore Last Year’s Big Hair Trend, and Guess What? We’re Still Obsessed

8 years ago Lily Garner
Sienna Miller will always be a modern-day Cinderella in our eyes. Her red carpet style wins her belle of the ball every time, and she constantly has those cool-girl waves we've spent our lives trying to master. Though she definitely has a signature look, she has actually switched up her hair more than you thought. Her recent hairstyle at the amfAR Gala was the perfect example. Showcasing equal amounts of glamour and laid-back style, Sienna rocked up in an incredible gold Dior gown, but it was her hair that really caught our attention. Sienna sported the trendy wispy fringe, with the rest of her hair in a high bun updo that was secured with a black ribbon that flowed down her neck. The black ribbon hair trend was big in 2017, and by the looks of it, it isn't going anywhere this year. After seeing Sienna's hair, we're jumping straight back on Pinterest to try out the hair decoration for ourselves. The best thing? You don't need any fancy accessories to re-crea..

Trump Goes After “Alex” Baldwin and His “Dieing” Career

8 years ago Lily Garner
President Donald Trump returned to one of his favorite pastimes on March 2, taking to Twitter in the early morning hours to go after the man who plays him on TV: Alec Baldwin. Except the first attempt at an insult fell far, far flat of what he intended. "Alex Baldwin, whose dieing mediocre career was saved by his impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing DJT was agony for him. Alex, it was also agony for those who were forced to watch. You were terrible. Bring back Darrell Hammond, much funnier and a far greater talent!" the president wrote in a now-deleted tweet at 5:43 a.m. ET in which he referred to Baldwin as "Alex" not once, but twice — and also misspelled "dying." Twenty-five minutes later, at 6:08 a.m., the president tried again. Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent! — ..

Is This Real Life? Hope Hicks Admits She Sometimes Tells “White Lies” For Donald Trump

8 years ago Lily Garner
Hope Hicks admitted before the House Intelligence Committee on Feb. 27 that her role as Donald Trump's White House Communications Director has required her to tell white lies. The admission came during closed-door private testimony that lasted over eight hours, according to The New York Times. It was a surprising statement given that Hicks had previously declined to discuss anything regarding the presidential transition or her role in the White House. Instead, the 29-year-old aide would only answer questions pertaining to the president's campaign and the ongoing Russia investigation. On that front, Hicks said she hasn't lied in response to any questions about Russia's possible involvement in the election. 44547058 Her response caused quite a stir online, with many wondering what special counsel Robert Mueller's reaction might have been. Following news of the statement, NPR lead editor Domenico Montanaro compared the "white lies" comment to Kellyanne Conway&..

I Could Give You 100 Reasons to Watch Good Girls, but Here Are My Top 3

8 years ago Lily Garner
It's safe to assume that whoever said money can't buy happiness never had three crushing mortgages to pay, a looming custody battle to fund, or a little girl with an expensive, life-threatening respiratory illness. The mothers in Good Girls — Ruby, Annie, and Beth, played respectively by Retta, Mae Whitman, and Christina Hendricks — have all of those problems . . . and then some. The pilot for NBC's crime dramedy, which aired on Feb. 26, follows the trio of suburban, cash-strapped moms as they joke around with each other about how much easier life would be if they could just rob their local grocery store. The $30,000 inside the vault in the back is just sitting there, right? And the store is insured. Who would they be hurting if they took it? Those jokes turn into a very real plan once all three of their lives take unfortunate turns — cheating spouses, insurmountable medical bills — and Annie, Beth, and Ruby make off with the money. In a perfect world, they'd rid..

I Brought My Boyfriend to a Fashion Show, and It Changed My Perspective Completely

Before I took my boyfriend, Joey, to his first fashion show, we walked into a bar across the street for a quick drink. The drink was both celebratory (this moment would go down in history!) and precautionary (Fashion Week is chaotic, and let's just say Joey is not the type to stay calm in the midst of disarray). This season, a lot of shows were held in Spring Studios in NYC, which is a relatively small space to host a lot of people wearing outfits so bold, they are often quite voluminous. Nevertheless, we proceeded into the mad rush for the Jonathan Simkhai show. We stood in a long, disorderly line outside in the rain, waiting to be checked in manually since the ticket scan machines were broken. Joey confirmed to me that he totally photobombed some girl's selfie because he couldn't really move. Once inside, we were ushered to a bank of elevators so we could be taken upstairs to the show space. We had to wait in a long line for this too, where Joey checked his phone and ..
