‘High School Musical‘ premiered over 10 years ago and fans have been begging for a reboot ever since!
Then in November, Disney Channel finally confirmed that they’ll be rebooting the throwback flick (which starred fan-favorite actors Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens) as a new TV series to debut on their digital streaming service, and we couldn’t help but throw confetti in the air and jump for joy.
And now, according to a recent report, the show will be written by Tim Federle, who also worked on the screenplay for “Ferdinand,” the laugh-out-loud funny 2017 animated comedy. There’s no word yet on exactly what to expect from the plot, but we’re hoping it’ll feature plenty of fun-filled song and dance numbers!
