Mixer takes interactive media to another level by allowing viewers to watch and engage with their favorite games and streamers in real-time. Backseat Comics fits the mold of the platform as it is an improv comedy gaming show where one player plays the most popular games currently streaming on Mixer while four comics riff on the action, dig on the storylines, and crush on gamers. The interactive series will allow viewers to vote on their favorite comedians and the best players in real-time using Mixer’s unique Faster Than Light streaming technology, as well as comment their thoughts throughout the episode.

“It’s an absolute honor and joy to be working in the live space with Mixer and I’m sure the world will love what we cook up together!” said Comedy Dynamics CEO Brian Volk-Weiss.

A special episode will be showcased at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which takes place in Los Angeles from June 12-14.

Backseat Comics will be executive produced by Comedy Dynamics’ Brian Volk-Weiss, Cisco Henson, and AJ Tesler as well as Mixer’s Richard Winn and Edward Capuano. The season is set to debut on April 13.
