Hollywood Celebrates Earth Day With Environmental Shout-Outs
Happy Earth Day! Like Mother’s Day, Groundhog Day and other specialized occasions, Earth Day was created to draw attention to an issue. Started in 1970, Earth Day has grown into an international awareness event for the environmental movement.

While it’s predictable that politicians and activist organizations would use Earth Day to virtue signal their concerns, Hollywood entertainment companies and celebrities also weighed in, some with surprisingly solid advice on ways to contribute to the greater global environmental good.
