‘History Of Them’: Miranda Cosgrove Joins CBS Comedy Pilot
Former iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove has joined CBS’ high-profile multi-camera/hybrid comedy pilot History of Them, from One Day at a Time co-creator/executive producer Gloria Calderon-Kellett, Sony Pictures TV and CBS TV Studios.
Written by Kellett and to be directed by Pam Fryman, the semi-autobiographical History of Them is a multi-cultural (Latinx & white) ensemble that revolves around two friends, Luna (Villafañe) and Adam (Dier), and how they fell in love, using the couple’s social media (Instagram/Twitter/FB) as a guide.
Cosgrove will narrate the pilot in the voice of the daughter.
Cast also includes Brett Dier, Ana Villafañe, Felix Solis, Lisa Vidal, Amit Shah, Caitlin McGee and Chris Powell.
Cosgrove is known for her starring roles as Carly Shaw in iCarly and Shea Moore in Crowded. On the film side her credits include the voice role of Margo in the Despicable Me franchise. Cosgrove is repped by WME and Anonymous Content.
