Drake Shows Off Spanish Skills and Hints at Musical Collaboration with Bad Bunny
January 26, 2018After dropping two new singles “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity,” on Jan. 21, Drake hints at at a forthcoming Spanish-language collaboration. The Toronto rapper posted a video on Instagram Stories alongside Latin trap artist Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, on Jan. 24.
In the video, Drake plays up his Spanish-language skills, referring to Bad Bunny, who sits next to him, as “el mejor” (“the best”). A snippet of an unidentifiable song being sung by the Puerto Rican star plays in the background as the two sit in what looks like a music studio. “El Conejo Malo” also shared a video of the two jamming on Instagram. At one point he asks Drake: “Do you have a message for all my Latin babies?” The rapper coyly responds: “I’m on the way.”
