Don’t mess with Fletch.
Actor and comedian Chevy Chase chased down a pickup truck he says cut him off near the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge recently — and then was attacked by its driver, according to a report.
The famed “Caddyshack” star claims he was driving over the Westchester span on Feb. 9 when the vehicle cut him off, according to TMZ, which cited an NYPD report.
He told police he thought the pickup truck struck his vehicle, so he flashed his lights and followed it until its driver pulled over, the site reported.
Chase, 74, realized that neither vehicle was damaged but that when he approached the driver “to speak to him about his reckless driving,” one of his three passengers flipped him off.
“If I were a lot younger I’d bust your nose,” the actor said he told the passenger before he was kicked in the shoulder and fell to the ground, TMZ reported.
The pickup driver claimed the “Saturday Night Live” icon tried to land the first blow and that his alleged attacker merely tried to block his fist, according to the document cited by TMZ.
The attacker was slapped with a count of second-degree harassment with physical contact.
Another driver also pulled over because he didn’t want to see an old man “get his ass stomped,” according to police.
