Prince Harry and Meghan Markle became husband and wife at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19, and while the couple was surrounded by friends and family, one person who was missing in action was Meghan's father, Thomas Markle. Earlier in the week, Thomas told TMZ that he would not be attending the wedding after he was caught staging photos of himself with the paparazzi as well as undergoing heart surgery. One of our favorite parts of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding (besides, of course, their first kiss as a married couple) was the Most Reverend Michael Curry's powerful sermon. Curry, the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, delivered a nearly 14-minute speech that perfectly summed up what love really is, and his words of wisdom are truly sticking with us. He began by quoting Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., reciting, "We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way." Though most of his impassioned speech was prepared ahead of time, he did improvise a few parts, like when he promised to wrap up soon so "we can get you two married," which gave the audience a sweet chuckle.
