Michael Avenatti filed Daniels’ latest lawsuit today in federal court in New York.

In the suite, Daniels, aka Stephanie Cliffords, center on Trump’s snark about her claim she was threatened by a man in a Vegas parking lot who warned her not to say anything about her alleged affair with Trump more than a decade ago. Stormy and Avenatti unveiled a forensic drawing of the alleged threat-maker on The View.

Trump took to Twitter to respond:

A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)! https://t.co/9Is7mHBFda

Daniels’ new lawsuit is not to be confused with the one she previously filed against Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen. Cohen said he paid the porn star $130,000, shortly before the 2016 election, to keep her mouth shut about any fling with the candidate Trump.

The lawsuit claims Trump’s remark is “false and defamatory” in that it “falsely attacks the veracity of Ms. Clifford’s account of the threatening incident that took place in 2011. It also operates to accuse Ms. Clifford of committing a crime under New York law, as well as the law of numerous other states, in that it effectively states that Ms. Clifford falsely accused an individual of committing a crime against her when no such crime occurred.”

“In making the statement, Mr. Trump used his national and international audience of millions of people to make a false factual statement to denigrate and attack Ms. Clifford. Mr. Trump knew that his false, disparaging statement would be read by people around the world” and that it would get a lot of press coverage, “and that Ms. Clifford would be subjected to threats of violence, economic harm, and reputational damage as a result.”

At the time Trump made the statement, he new it to be false, and/or was making it “with reckless disregard for the truth or falsity of his statement.”

Trump’s “false statement about Ms. Clifford is defamation per se because, among other things, it charged Ms. Clifford with committing a serious crime,” the lawsuit claimed.

Avenatti’s tweet announcing the new filing:

Moments ago, we filed this lawsuit against Mr. Trump for his recent irresponsible and defamatory statements about my client @stormydaniels. He is well aware of what transpired and his complicity. We fully intend on bringing it to light. #buckleup #bastahttps://t.co/ZuBjI1EY9z
