Amazon Boosts The Price of Prime To $119
Amazon said it will increase the price of its Amazon Prime service for U.S. subscribers, boosting the annual fee from $99 to $119.

The online retailer announced the $20 hike in its annual fee during its first quarter earnings call.
Amazon said it has increased the benefits of the service – which includes free, two-day delivery, and access to expanding entertainment offerings through Amazon Prime Video. But costs associated with the service are also growing, prompting the price hike.
Prices will increase take effect on May 11.
